Hi Guys'  :happy2:

What products have you guys tried and tested to seal your workshop/garage concrete floor ?

I was looking at the likes of :-
http://www.screwfix.com/p/no-nonsense-water-repellent-seal-clear-5ltr/57474?kpid=57474&cm_mmc=Google-_-Product%20Listing%20Ads-_-Sales%20Tracking-_-sales%20tracking%20url&cm_mmc=Google-_-Shopping%20-%20Building%20and%20Joinery-_-Shopping%20-%20Building%20and%20Joinery&gclid=CjwKEAiAi4a2BRCu_eXo3O_k3hUSJABmN9N14yJXeCrFyAXgn_xECmO7qcqXmr1ohQh-kBdW1eIf4xoCApXw_wcB

and

But i'm sure some of you have tried and tested different products...

The concrete has been down 3+ months, it's 6" deep.

It got 2 coats of the UPVA mixed with water, yesterday to help reduce the dust.

Still dusty !

So what works best, sealer & paint ?

Paint type will be non slip.
(just add "dry sand" to get non slip)

I would like something that is solvent resistant.

Thanks
Neil

I've tried both and found the floor paint the best especially if you have the floor as you do pre oil contamination.

I used the screwfix grey floor paint and it gave good results but I give it plenty time to dry - two weeks and think that made all the difference.

I suspect you'll have to buy an industrial grade specification floor paint to be solvent resistant as the screwfix one isn't.

its also a good idea to heat the garage before you paint at this time of year.

Tfsi_Mike:
Try @Neilgti   Our in house floor master :-)

It's not going to see lots of traffic, but it will be used . I would just not like to have it patchy, due to hot tyres and any oil or solvent splills...

Cheers for the info... :happy2:
