Well it sounds like I have done the opposite to what you suggest haha
I have a Ko4 Edition 30... It's getting an RTech map in the spring to Stage 1. So currently it is stock.
It has had the pre cat removed and has a Milltek cat back. I kinda wanted to get things done to it before going for the map so that when they do the map it's all how it should be for the mods that are on it. Rather than add stuff after the map if that makes any sense.
I haven't noticed a performance decrease yet but I guess it's only been a day. I know certain induction kits are louder than others. I am very happy with the Revo noise but upon watching videos of various ones including Revo you can hear that flutter noise and I wasn't sure if that's something that would become more audible once the cars been mapped... Not that I mind it without the noise, it was just an observation really.

I hope you don't feel like I rained on your parade, not my intention at all. :drinking:

this did it!

Fitting a blow off valve results in the full on chatter/spool noise on a remapped car. I went from this to quieter whooshing once removed.

Not easy on DSG but I've managed it every now and again...
