Hello all,

My names Mohamed, been after a mk5 gti since ages but couldn't make the commitment (insurance fuel bills etc) droe a 1.2 Clio for a 5 years and February 6th this year I took the dip! ( my brother in law played a huge part in convincing me to get a mk5 instead of a BMW) I work for the Sytner Group in Leicester ( got a really really good deal on the car as an employee) and the perfect car came up at one of our sites, previous owner part exchanged it for a jag/LR - car was prepped and it caught my eye, rang the dealer selling it and deposited straight away, initially I was unaware to a few mods already done but when I went to see the car with my BIL @shoaybmakda we noticed it had a Miltek exhaust fitted, a few interior mods and potential remap ( not confirmed till I rolling road it, I have come from a 1.2 Clio so might just be that) this added to my excitement, all formalities done drive away and ere I I'm 3 weeks later living the dream, few piks of the car added below! If anyone recognises the reg and knows or any previous owners I would love to have a chat with them! Welcome to the forum fella!

I heard from Shoayb when you went down to purchase the car - he told me all about it and how excited you were.

It seems you've bagged a really decent motor with some nice mods already done.

We need to arrange a mini meet. I have a Tornado red GTI and bought Shoayb's old Monzas.

I have RetroRaz coming to mine on Saturday 5th March in Nottingham if you two are interested in a mini-meet???

We have different coloured cars so would make a nice photoshoot: Red, White, Blue, Black......

Saturday 5th sounds good to me,   I might pop down I'll confirm with him closer to the time so he can let you know!

@maxitrol - thank you! Really pleased with it in practically the perfect spec bar xenons but what's a GTi without any mods to do :0)
