Intermittent power loss

Hey guys, could do with some advice.

Car is a VW golf Mk5 GTI AXX engine, every so often when driving I will lose all power but when I release accelerator and press it again it works?

I've had it on diagnostics and no fault codes are showing up, and the boost gauge showing no loss of boost.

I thought I could be DV but fitted a new Rev D in November, so surely it can't have gone that quick.

Any ideas of what it could be? Thanks in advance!
