Nope, I agree. Especially since it took about 4 bloody hours to organise and the constant reminders over the tannoy announcements about the shortage of cars!

Apparently it was too blustery for the drone to get a clear shot

No problem pal it's a great little trick and for the cost of a couple of quid can't go wrong. Bet that sponge was blacker than Wesley Snipes

I take it they got enough for the big GTI photo in the end then?

Anyone seen the pic yet?

Only just, they ended up running round begging people to bring their cars, my wife included!
Strangely people down in the show and shine area didn't seem to know much about it.
Anyway, it didn't get photographed properly as the bloke with the drone couldn't be found in time, people got pissed off so started moving their cars.
Read afterwards that it was too windy for the microlight, which I can believe but nobody mentioned this at the time.
There was a media type on the hill but I don't know what the pictures look like.
They promised to send the via email to all who took part, but we'll see.
My car was parked on front row, bottom of the G  :signLOL:

Was this you mate? Next to me AU07

Yes, looked a bit high in between yours and the one on other side!

i was about halfway in the main body of the T.  tbh was a complete shambles and a waste of time. wish id stayed on stand. great to meet you tho lads. if it does somehow happen next year i think we start touting for cars on stand early and have an even better turnout  :happy2:
