ChrisGT:
Threatening to burn things usually gets the job done, or at least keeps you warm for a while.
Some new things have started to turn up, just like christmas!
New pollen filter, LED number plate lights and some new sheets of wet&dry sand paper in preparation for the big detail
Changed the pollen filter and wonder when it was done before
Will hopefully get the bulbs changed over tonight or tomorrow,
Cheers,
Chris

LED number plates lights installed and much better than the horrible yellow originals. Looking forward to replacing the interior lights when they arrive too.

They look ace mate - may have to invest...
ChrisGT:
Thanks very much.
Got them on Ebay for less than £5 and took 5 minutes to change them over. They're quite wide so had to get them perfectly square to fit back into the housing but well worth it in my opinion. Here's a link to them:

Some more things arrived today for the golf. Archoil diesel and DPF cleaner, some more sand paper of different grits, some wire wheels for cleaning up some bits and pieces like brake calipers etc and a new stubby aerial (only ordered yesterday at 18:10 and arrived this afternoon at 14:30!!! Fastest I've ever received an item I've bought online, got it from car-masts-uk from their ebay shop, very impressed)
