2.0 TFSI problems after chain and tensioner change

<< < (3/3)

Nico2904:
Just finished it working on that chain and tensioner and all timed and working perfectly. Had VCDS on and it shows 28 KW of 28 KW requested  :happy2: Can finally sleep again hahaa

Good job!  :happy2: :happy2:

Nico2904:
Thanks guys for inputs  :happy2: It is quite tricky with the cam tool, get it to slide nice and easy in.
But for anyone who doing this, follow these advises:

- make sure engine is on marks
- Do not force locking tool between cams. Should slide nice and easy in
- When putting adjuster, chain and so on back together, make sure everything sits correct. Check by crank engine by hand (several times to be sure)
- I found that the chain should be a bit loose at the bottom (opposite of the actual tension of the tensioner), when it all sat correctly
- Check marks on engine and exhaust cam

Thank you
- Nico
