Wouldn't touch a Cat D regardless of cost unless using it for a track only project. The admin involved in getting one road legal is a pain and then it costs more to insure.

A cat d once repaired has to go to vosa and gets a inspection from top to bottom,the check goes through every thing

My sisters cat D 08 Honda didn't go through this. have vosa changed the regulations in the past two years?
