Stunning car! Great job!

Chris
It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

Stunning mate!! Mines a tornado red 5 door too. It's crying out for paint correction! Your car is motivating me to get the finger (and the D/A) out!

Mines only a lowly standard(ish) Ko3 model

I've a stage 1 map and full custom turbo back 3inch exhaust.  Next on my list is the RAMair induction kit. I just can't decide between the normal size and the oversize??

Do you know is there any significant advantage to oversize vs "normal" size??

Cheers in advance
Dave

Thanks again to everyone who's commented - I think my photos make it look better than it is!  :innocent:

I'm on the look out for a full exhaust system if anyone has one for sale!?
I'd need a resonated version as i drive the car 70 miles a day just to work and back so something that doesn't drone on motorways would be ideal!

Oh and im also booked in for a RTech Stage 2 in August... EXCITED!  :jumping:

Got myself a full Turbo Back System.

APR RSC by Robert Burgazzi, on Flickr

Its an APR RSC Full Turbo Back with a 200 Cell Sports Cat which retails at £1720! :surprised:
I picked it up for £500 and I'm over the moon with how it sounds, i cant get over how quiet it is on the motorway.

Its quiet and reserved untill you really give it some beans then it roars and the DSG Bangs are to die for!

Thanks again for all the nice comments :D

No i don’t think it’s the same company, APR are primarily an American based VAG tuner. They have some awesome bits of kit! This is the exhaust i have - http://www.goapr.co.uk/products/apr_exhaust_20tfsi.html

And to be perfectly honest I couldn’t tell you the difference between the oversized and the normal as I’ve only experienced the oversized.
I’m guessing the pipe diameters are bigger meaning it allows more air…? It’s pretty bloody noisy though; I get loads of turbo chatter and it puts a smile on my face!

Thank you!!
The headlights are rubbish in my opinion, the light output is terrible! The beam is scattered and the actual light output is poor (I've had 5k HID's and Phillips Xtreme Vision Bulbs, both pretty sh*t)
They look brilliant though, depends what you're after i guess...

And no i got mine second hand from a person on ebay!

I've got the depo headlights and I found with most lamps and cheaper hid kits they look crap. I went a bit higher on the HID market and paid £70 and its made all the difference imo - passed mot easily and actually gives out an immense amount of light at night!

Don't suppose you've got a link to the kit you've used??
