Above text is copied from here so follow on from there, so yes the next step would be setting the stop limiter

Still the same...  :stupid:
Steering Angle Sensor doesn't read any angle.

My ABS/ESP unit is MK60 so I need to follow this steps (#03, not #44): http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/VW_Golf_(1J)_Brake_Electronics_(MK60)#Basic_Setting but I can¡t because I cannot activate Basic Settings.

When I go to Group 060 in Basic Settings, I get this:

If I try to read value of G85 in Channel 04, I get this, always 0.00º, no matter what:

Here's an autoscan I did, and all the Faults I found (maybe it helps):

Also, I noticed my car doesn't have this under the "Steering Column"...

Not my car/photo

http://workshop-manuals.com/volkswagen/golf-mk5/images/golf-mk5-2424.png
Is it normal?

SWCM / SMLS before I had installed is 1K0 953 549 BC, now 1K0 953 549 CH (which is supposed to be compatible). The CH has like the space for this connector, which it doesn't exist in my car.

v4rley:
I sent that link as it recently resolved my g85 issues....

With regards to the above photo, your car does have it, it's behind the slip ring..

The photo is not from my car, I checked mine and I didn't have this thing behind the slip ring, why?
Isn't it the G85/slip ring the steering angle sensor itself?
