Lowering springs with standard shocks

<< < (4/5) > >>

Rippers:
Another shout for H&Rs, fitted mine recently and had no issues with them being on OEM dampers. Ride stance is massively improved and the handling has firmed up a little but not anything to be worried about.

rich83:
Your dampers will die though. It's just a matter of time

If the shocks do go then I'll probably go down the Bilstein B8 route, can get shocks for sub £400 from Eurocarparts with the right discount code

--- End quote ---

Could you please give me some details on this - I only see Bilstein fronts listed for my Ed30.
Thanks

@grey golfster

These are listed for my Leon but same fitment

Eurocarparts numbers
Fronts : 935440670 (ensure it states B8 and 55mm)
Rears:   935442080 (Ensure it states B8)

Two of each required (obviously). Using code TX15zg the total comes to £420.21 today - typical price fluctuation of Euros!!!! - still some £100 cheaper than DPM or anywhere you can find them

grey golfster:
Thanks!

With codes (eg 30% off last weekend) that seems a good price for B8's?
Will do some homework, and await the discounting to be continued.
