AJP:
Is this like Manuka honey? Some of that is about 20 quid for a little jar! Supposedly has huge health benefits. Bloody wants to for that price.

r5gtt:
Tablets AJP

AJP:
I currently take a multi vitamin, omega 3/6, and one of those vit c + zinc fizzy Berocca things.

Not sure how much good it all does, as I train 4 times a week and try and eat healthily at the same time, but I do know that when I don't / can't train, eat badly, and don't bother with the vitamins, I feel like utter d*gsh*t in comparison.

I'm a firm believer in regular exercise, a good diet and sufficient sleep being the best anti-depressent there is.

r5gtt:
Nice one AJP glad there are civilised answers now as I seriously feel like the same if I don't exercise and have been lacking a lot recently due to an issue with my hand and arm.

Injury sucks. I had a really bad accident about 18 months ago (while training, ironically). Basically dislocated my shoulder doing overhead press. Lost stability, dumbbell went backwards, shoulder completely went, with a big crunch. Straight to A&E.

Turns out the force of the dislocation actually shattered the glenoid (shoulder socket), as well as torn ligaments and smashed cartilage. Had surgery within a couple of weeks, was in a sling for 6 weeks, off work for 3 months, and I've only in the last couple of months been able to train anywhere near the intensity I was before the accident. 2015 was a horrible year for me.

It's something I really value now, being able to train properly and keep myself healthy and happy.
