Condensation in Ed30 rear light
(1/1)
tdimac:
This has probably been covered a million times but is condensation in the rear lights a common issue and is there a relatively simple diy option to fix by somehow reseating the light unit ? Or am I likely to smash it into a hundred pieces trying and need a new unit ? Anyone got a good source for oem Ed30 rear lights other than the stealer ?

I've cleared three different lights out. The best fix is to drill a tiny 1mm hole in a hidden corner on the bottom of the light internal so the water has somewhere to go!

My bro in laws golf mk5 1.4 had a flood in the left hand side light due to it not being bolted down fully from being and the bulb holder wasn't clipped into the light fully so maybe have a look into that.
