Thanks for the help guys. Will get all of those sorted on pay day as want it to be faultless if possible.

Got a little issue with the boot cover. The clips that hold it on have one or two that are broken. I've got hold of some door card clips but they don't seem to do the job.

Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Good plan. If you can be bothered you can always inspect your Diverter valve before replacing it. If the diaphragm isn't torn you don't need to replace it.

Again, for the cost it might just be as easy to replace it. If the one that's on the car turns out to be in good nick you can always keep it as a spare :happy2:

Think ive managed to sort the boot now, seems to work as it should.
Many things arrived today including the Poorboys stuff id ordered. I know what im doing on BH Monday

Going to get the PCV, CF and DV done at the same time as my cambelt and water pump so that they are all done and sorted.

Quoted prices from VW are as follows, let me know what you think to the prices as will get them ordered if they are spot on.

DV is £43.20 INC
Cam Follower is £16.73 INC each, just need the one right?
PCV is £34.60 INC

Those are brilliant prices compared to what they cost here in Ireland.....

I paid €100 (inc. VAT) for a Revision D Diverter valve
Over €50 (inc. VAT) for the cam follower and the rubber seal that goes with it (I recommend you get the seal too. And yes, you only need one cam follower)
And €60 (inc. VAT) for the PCV assembly.

That's a total of €210 or £180!!!

Compared to your total of circa £95!!

I'd take their arm off and just be glad you're in the UK where it appears the parts are almost exactly half price :happy2:

Getting all those bits fitted at the same time as the cambelt and water pump is top drawer preventive maintenance and should set the car up lovely! Enjoy :happy2:

(Note to self; must start ordering parts from Volswagen Northern Ireland  :happy2:)
