So youre saying theres a cover to protect the HPFP?
any links mate

A downpipe doesn't make your exhaust much louder. Taking out the resonator does.

At the moment they only have blue protection shields, I think. You can also check their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/celtempengineering/ and contact them by email: engineering@celtemp.nl.

Mate, a downpipe alone makes it scream once you hit boost. Im trying to decide if I even want a catback. its quiet on idle and cruising speeds but yout step it. it starts shouting for sure

Ok. I went full TBE with Powervalve system, so it only shouts when on boost. If I drive sensibly it's pretty quiet. The resonator should tame the sound a bit and drone, right? I chose the Prestige option so my resonator is a bit bigger than the Sports option.

Yeah thats it, the resonator brings the sounds down. the DSG farts on mine are ridiculous lol. Trying to choose a catback system for mine but dont want it too loud when driving around town.
Nobody wants to be that guy sitting out the traffic lights in the car that sounds like its idling at 4000rpm

Shoduchi:
I can't fault mine with noise when driving sensibly. I do know it's not the cheapest option available.

shoaybmakda:
I went for a Milltek cat back non res with (currently) an OEM downpipe with the pre cat removed and I find it pretty subtle. It gets a little loud when you put your foot down but it's not chavvy.

My Mrs and 5 month old don't seem to mind it so it can't be that bad!
