Just trying to work out car insurance,,, My cousin had a 1 year ban for being over the limit & when he started driving again the insurance price he got were massive, Someone else I know has just started driving again after a 3 1/2 year ban for the same thing but he got a price of around £600 a year ? How's that work out ?

They are probably telling you lies ? Or they have opted for a massive excess, my guess is that they are not telling the truth, especially after a 3.5 year ban , what was it for ?
