Check  HPFP fuelpump and cam follower. very easy to do and should take you about 15 mins. If they are bad, Warranty. Also while you are there check cam for wear also.

D which is the piston type DV

mine does this sometimes, DV makes no difference to me as have used diaphragm and piston type and has done it with both.
