Car Hire to Take to France - Any Recommendations

As title - looking to go to France next year, and hoping to hire a large car / MPV that can fit 6 adults as well as my son's dog and cat (doh!) Need to hire in UK, to go on Dover Ferry, then onward to Northern France

Anyone done it / know of any places to try for hire

Seems better than us taking two cars.
