Received my plaque within 2 days of requesting it ! VW were great !
wrapped my damaged DSG surround !

gave the arches a full decon and painted any orange bits i could find

wheels freshly powder coated
3" decat and catback fitted
gloss black grilles and smooth front grille
alSo won a set of r32 brakes that I'm currently refurbing in red with new logos to suit the GTI
wheels on
all done for now !

This is lovely. I'm going to get my grilles sprayed gloss black too. Think it freshens things up nicely, similar to the later RS Audis.
Did you use plastidip or paint?

just paint mate , cleaned them down properly with panel wipe to get any grease off then dusted every 5 mins with black gloss until was happy ! they're not mega gloss , just enough for them to look better than they did new !

Cool, will be doing the same. Fingers crossed it holds up and doesn't crack/flake!
