Bozz:
Big thanks to Banksy for his new hotel in Bethlehem & for bringing the struggle of the Palestinian Pepople to the world once again
AJP:
Quite a gesture.

Recent rumours point at Banksy's real identity being Robert Del Naja ('3D') of Bristol's Massive Attack - a group you should also look into, Bozz.
Out of all the Banksy theories, this one probably holds the most weight, for me. Again, there's quite a political impetus behind them, although it's not overtly obvious through their music. If you had the time and got a feel for what they're about, you could see why the link is plausible.
But back to the point. Good on him, them, whoever he is.
And by the way, if anyone's on Twitter following that 'real banksy' account, it's really not him..

I would probably say doing something like this is probably the final nail in the coffin for a so called "two state" solution:

The more Palestinian owned land is taken by Israel, sooner or later it would seem Palestine would be non existent. It's gradually taking away the land and claiming it as their own. Even Jews say it belongs to the Palestinians but put the blame on Zionist Israel causing the issues (which has often led to Jews being publically shamed)
We all know these things go on - the fact of the matter is no matter how many demonststrations/rallies/marches people do, it never has an effect.
It's a sad world we live in.
