Aerial Options & testing

Hi All,

The radio reception on my RCD 300 was rubbish and with my new Kenwood too. I was using the Fakra adapter with one aerial and now have bought one of these which allows using both aerials:



Anyone know if these make much of a difference?

While I have it apart I would like to test the signal strength from each of the aerial, does anyone know how to do this?
