Hi guys, was looking for a new automatic daily driver that wasn't a boring diesel and the gti fit the  bill perfectly.
2008 DSG with tartan interior. Since i got it i had the dsg box serviced, added new full beam bulbs, painted the wheels grey and just gave it a good wash and wax with some fusso i brought back from Japan the last time i was over.
Plans are ramair induction, sports cat and a remap. I'm waiting on delivery for a new cam follower that'll I fit when i get.
Apart from that, really happy with the car.

Cam follower arrived a few days ago so gonna fit that, would like to check the diverter too make sure it's in working order, I've never been in a gti before this one so have no reference point for performance, seems quick enough though,

Noticed a slight hesitation when the car is warm at idle, anyone experience this? I'll need to get is scanned i know. Probably best to change the plugs and was thinking about the r8 coils.

A second hand EvoMS intake has come up for sale cheap locally so I think i'll get that, then sports cat then fit them when I'm in a position to go for a stage 2 map.

Sounds like a good plan, maintenance first to make sure it's a solid healthy base and then time for the mods  :driver:
