Tom Tom go 730 Screen Problem?

My aging Tom Tom looks to have finally given up. Started by the screen buttons not matching what I pressed, but now seems to be frozen on last journey. Any experts know what to do, or do I have to bin it and rely on MFD2 nav til I can get a replacement. The VW built in one is pants, doh!
