Good result! I have the same mods on my k04 converted BWA - be interesting to see what it makes. Be happy with 350/350 as its not quite comparable with a k04-from-stock car due to higher compression and a few other differences etc.

Very nice.  A tasty hike in power from very few hardware changes.

All the folk that say S3 ICs are rubbish and can only support 350hp....tsh!

Yeah Nick did say that the S3 cooler could restrict power but he also mentioned that because the miles were so low and engine was healthy which helped.

I dont think there is anything wrong with the S3 intercooler. just the recover time isnt as quick as larger core coolers which is understable.

Not something youd notice on the road anyway

Absolutely on your second point, except perhaps if you're giving it max beans for half an hour on a 35 degree day, but how often does that happen in the UK?

Giant intercoolers are fine on the track where you're at max throttle 100% of the time.  On the road, you're at max throttle 5% of the time.

That's fair enough.  I couldn't be bothered with the fabrication work for welly boots, and APR, IE etc intercoolers were too expensive for essentially what is an S3 copy......so genuine S3 it was!

Its really not as much work as people think tbh.

had mine on in a few hours. wasn't to bad at all but I can see why people want a plug and play solution
