Looking to buy a 2013/2014 GTI PP, anything I should look out for?

As above looking to buy a 2013/2014 GTI Performance Pack, budget is around 16k. So mileage is likely to be around 40k.

Is there anything I need to look out for? I have vcds so car will be getting plugged in anyways. But anything mechanical I should watch out for?

I am wanting to take it to stage 1 so I guess if I go for a manual the clutch could be the weak link?

Any advice hugely appreciated
