Are you sure about this phil? I read somewhere that the standard ED30/pirelli sits 15mm lower than the Standard GTi. Not sure where I read it though. :ashamed:

I think i remember reading this too and i'm nearly sure it was in an issue of VW Driver in early 2007, so i'm in the same boat as you Monte... :wink:

I'm sure you wont be dissapointed with a golf imo its a much better alround car than the civic plus you get plenty of torque unlike with v-tec engines!

I've owned a DC2 and DC5 both are cracking cars but i find the golf much better to use daily. :happy2:

If you want another honda go for a DC5 i wouldnt bother with the FN2 unless its the championship edition.

It is true, i also have read the same statement by the journo's in one of the mags, but theyve mislead you. Just park a GTi and Ed30 nxt to each other. They are both the same ride height. :happy2:

Test drive an edition30 mate you'll love it,budget for about £500 and get it remapped you won't belive it. Although you will become strangely obsessed with your gti
