Dsg problem

Hi all i have a 2007 mk5 golf gti i have just had the speed sensor in the dsg gearbox changed and now car wont go over 3rd gear??
1st 2nd gear fine it changes to 3rd then wont go any higher and i cant changed using paddles or anything?
Could anyone help thanks adam
