WhiteGTI:
I don't think the engine cover is too bad really.

I think if you could get a sticker/badge of some sort made up to put on it, it would finish it off.

Don't ask me what the sticker/badge should say lol!

But I can just envisage something on it, which would top it off!

Hope that makes some form of sense haha!

JPC:
looking good mate. not a huge fan of the engine cover but with 324bhp, i wouldnt care less!

yeah got the dbilas heat shield, the engine cover is by evoms though just so people know not to go for that one  :signIWS: never mind its not like i drive with the bonnet up.

pleased with dbilas though nice and quiet when cruising but as soon you boot it, produces a nice note with the exhaust.

vf engine mounts and coilovers seem to have settled in now done about 400 mile on them,  the vibrations seemed to have calmed down even when sat in traffic in D mode they are hardly noticeable, or i have got used to them..

all together feels very solid and roll feel when taking corners aggressively is pretty much non existent just gripped really well  :driver:

Top Cat:
Sorry if i have missed it somewhere James are you saying that there is not much of a difference with the VF mounts compared to standard, i mean in the cabin with vibrations.

first couple of hundred miles after having them installed the difference between stock and mounts was night and day, was vibrations while idling and in low gears going along, the break pedal also vibrated a bit too and cabin noise was quite alot more noticeable. i was a little concerned...

have given it a good long drive today and pushed it pretty hard  overall done around 400 miles on them

got home and took my g/f to supermarket and she commented that the noise and vibrations were not as bad as before, which confirmed what i felt on the drive back as i got in to the congestion in London, but still more noticeable than pre mounts.

they seemed to have settled in, though still very much noticeable in terms of feel of the car, gear changes, breaking and cornering all feels sturdier.
