semi slick tyre options for 18 inch wheels?
« on: December 31, 2008, 11:24:51 am »
Specific track / 1/4 mile tyres that also are just about useable on the road?

Megane R26 has Toyo 888 which get great writeups

Is that a valid option? and any other tyre options available for 18's?

225/40/18 as standard I think, guess I can deviate from that a little (but keep roll radius the same)

maybe even possible to increase width + reduce sidewall to 255/35 ?
828 rolling radius match but OE rim width (8 inch) is a bit small ???

Michelin Pilot Sport Cups are on a fair amount of exotica, like GT3 RS's etc.

Here's some others, but R888's are cheap and proven.
