Camber positive, wheel sticking out of fender

(1/1)

xplod:
Hello guys,

I hit my front wheel, which now have a positive camber angle. After have been to the tire shop to fix it,  the guy said the wheel couldn't be in the manufacture angle,  and I Still have a positive angle camber.
I'm about to see a mecanic to tell me how this can be fixed.

Do you have a rough idea of how much it could cost in the worst case scenario, with guessing  what I would have to change (i don't know yet)

Thanks

mjmallia:
No idea of cost but the camber is not adjustable on the front without buying aftermarket top mounts or console bushes...........rear has adjustable camber

Have you perhaps sheared one of the bolts on either control arm or ball joint mountings?!?

Dan_FR:
You've bent something, bottom arm is likely, but so too is the hub.

My other half had a minor knock in mine back at the start of the year when we had snow - I had to change the entire front corner, including the small bracket that mounts the front of the wishbone to the subframe in order to get it back in to spec, so new hub, wishbone & ball joint, the bracket and a new shock absorber.
