Would Audi S5 brakes fit on a GTI?

Friend of mine has got some S5 calipers and he would like to know if the could be fitted if he brought the disc and whatever else is needed?

Does anyone know if they’ll fit? I’ve been offered some S5 brakes but not sure if they’re the same as S3

S3 are generic iron calipers used on loads of hatchbacks.  S5 are probably the same as the R8's, which people have used on MK5s.
