nice! you wouldn't really know that wasn't a mk6 in that photo would ya! was they easy enough to get coded? i guess that wasn't something you could do with VCDS? Maybe Vag Commander?

Really? A lot tells me it's not a Mk6 hehe..

take i look to my mk5 and tell what will give up on the picture that this isn't a mk6? :D

Great updated but be carefull - going down the retrofit path is a time taking path to take…
A lot of work in that interior... and no dash lights!! I'll try to get you those scans later today

Yeah it has taken some time - Also since I've completely re-done the central and komfort wirering harness on the car to match new BCM modules that has Central and Comfort modules combines.

So I don't have the old CECM and CCM modules in my mk5 like the rest of you does hehe :) I use 1K0 937 087 BA

Little update:
No major changes. Running Serron wheels, sequential turn signals, and a Jetta grille. Also installed an 034Motorsport upper aluminum dogbone insert to go along with the aluminum lower insert already installed.

Chased my white whale recently. Intermittent fuel cuts after driving 2+hrs in 95°+ heat. After a fuel control module and harness extension apparently didn't fix the issue, finally replaced the lpfp. Hopefully that's a remedy..
VF engineering short shifter installed. Maxton design hatch spoiler extension. Picked up a mk6 GTI trying cargo cover, difference being mk5 doesn't have the added netting underneath.
Still considering installing a mk6 GTI abs pump and module. Need to do little more research on compatible part#s

It's winter. I'm bored. $60 for a mk6 diffuser and mk5 gti bumper. Some cutting.. a little trimming and this is it so far. Held together with clamps. Will try some plastic bonding adhesive to hold them together. If all goes well I'll pick up the stock mk6 axle back exhaust section for another~$20.

Closeup. Fits surprisingly well. Will sit offset from the bumper like it does on the mk6..
