Sounds a bit crazy.

If you know the road hasn't been updated, why does it matter

Andy:
Took about  40 min when I did mine

loop:
Didn’t know the new one was out already, but the V15 update last year was no different to the V14 maps for roads around where I live, with several missing roads or postcodes and quirks like it doesn’t know you can turn right from a certain road and tries to make you go a longer way than necessary.
Personally I don’t think it’s the best nav but it is convenient to have it permanently in the car having used removable windscreen mounted ones in the past.

Because there is a high probability roads you don't know haven't been added either

When I say 'new' roads in Bedford, they were built over 2 years ago.

Google maps is updated constantly.  VW maps?  Once a year?

Shoduchi:
It's Navteq that makes the maps. They should do a better job... like consult Google Maps before issuing a new update! :signLOL:
