Just do it.
Revo probably the best, I am very happy with my pendle performance one however.
No mods required.

How do you find the Pendle map? I’m looking to get mine mapped soon and there’s a Pendle place near me. Previously had an Alfa that was mapped there before I bought it and I remember it feeling very linear esp. for a turbo diesel map, which are usually all low down power.

I had the APR stage 1 mapped onto my car which is on special offer till the end of March
Very friendly with excellent knowledge.
I am very pleased with the result,it goes like a stabbed rat.

Would an APR downpipe improve things ?

Should give more top end power but you may have troubles come MOT time for it to pass.

Pudding on here has had one on his IIRC and it was close to not passing.

And..it's £800  :indifferent: Says you need the APR stage 2 map as well

Not much point then because I am sticking with stage 1.

My car was staying standard...... was mapped within a month, then went full 2+ with WMI etc. inside a year.

Haven't modified it for a couple years now though, largely because I rarely drive it any more and the misses uses it for work and trips to the supermarket etc.

I know, crazy right   It is APR though, so big prices.  Apart from the flex section being a bit too short (as per most aftermarket DPs), it is a decent part.  The 'GESI' cat did indeed fail on it's second MOT, but the tester managed to scrape it through.  Well of course you NEED the APR 2 map to go with it   It's pretty much just changing the "Bank 1 sensor 2 oxygen sensor?" byte from 1 to 0.

Who knows.  I've seen the text on their website change from 200 to 300 cell during random visits.  Currently at 300 cell.  http://www.goapr.co.uk/products/apr_exhaust_cast_downpipe_20t_fwd.html

How's your clutch going. What power did you get?

Edition 30 #1994 now sold. *cries*

They don’t have a rolling road so no exact figures.
They estimate 300/310 bhp,it is faster than before but quite a bit of wheel spin.
The clutch is fine It has a DSG gearbox.

300 is about right if everything else is standard.

Mine rarely ever spins since switching to PS4 tyres and decent coilovers.   It used to do one tyre fires for fun with Eagle F1s and standard suspension.

Tyres are on my to do list.
