All Things Mk5 > Performance Modifications
Edition 30
colesey:
Yeah, for sure. A few nudges tightening things up does pay dividends and gives you a nice handling car. I’ve had a few handling icons back in the day and a thoughtfully tweaked mk5 is quite respectable. Better to spend time / money on the handling than chase more bhp than the car can put down on the road.
Stig_gti:
100% agree, I love a nice handling car makes for so much of a better drive.
Especially if you can get the power down. There’s only so much you can have through the front wheels before it’s wasted wheel spinning.

No the Eibachs aren't hollow by the way, and neither are the H&Rs as far as I know.
Apart from saving a tiny bit of weight, there's no advantage other than being cheaper to make. Less metal, less cost!
rich83:
The only ones that I think are hollow are the Autotech ones.
Stig_gti:
Ok cheers lads,
Are just go with either of the smaller options will be fine for fast road.
Just stuck on what bushes to use, SuperPro or originals. Going to doing all bushes.
