PCV RUFF IDLE HELP

So recently installed a forge catch can and a pcv and it caused loads of white smoke so did some research and found out its a common issue with some tfsi engines. so i put the OEM pcv back on and soon as i put it back on my car was not running the same, my idle is ruff , but if i wait a couple mins then it seems to run fine. so i brought a new pcv and rubber seal fitted it and same problem ruff idle ...anyone had this issue?
