Spacer help required

Has anyone ever had issues fitting 12mm hubcentric spacers on the front of their Mk5? Ive seen a few comments saying if the spigot length is longer than 10mm (mine is 11/12mm) then I cant run 12mm spacers and need to go wider, which I cant understand if the recommended spacer setup is 12mm front and 15mm rear and is run by many people on here?!

A lot will depend on the brand of spacers that you go for, you shouldn't have any issues with H&R 12mm spacers on the front.
