Mk5 gt tdi 170 DPF light
« on: December 02, 2019, 08:18:20 pm »
Hi guys

I have recently bought a gt tdi 170 and the DPF light is on. Now having read all the horror stories I have tried to follow the regeneration process in the manual, I’ve also had the DPF cleaned and tried to force regen but that light will just not go out. It is showing 3 failed regens is there anything else that could be stopping it.

Thanks Paul

Have you been a good run in the car? Need to be sitting 300-400rpm for about 10mile
Had this on my old mk5 cost a fortune to get it replaced.
