Pescara's painted to order
« on: January 25, 2020, 10:24:10 am »
Hi, sorry if this isn't the right section. I have a set of ed30 Pescara's i'm going to be selling with brand new centre caps and nut covers. I'm a painter myself so i was going to refurb them before selling, but then i had a thought if anyone would be interested in them and i could paint them to a colour they wanted? Cheers Adam

Hi.

I would be interested - what sort of price are you looking for?

Thanks
John

I’ve tried to find some for sale to get an idea on price but haven’t come across any. I was thinking around £650

£150 a wheel is a fair price if refurbed professionally and they are all straight and no buckles

I got a set of fully refurbished wheels without centre caps for £400, but that was earlier last year and these were without tyres.

What tyres do they come with? Tread?

Where are you based?

Update, Stripped the tyres off last night and the front 2 are a bit more worn than i first thought and one rear has had a puncture repair. So i think it's best to sell them without tyres. £500 delivered. Cheers Adam

They are stripped to bare alloy now so you could have them that way or painted mate. Cheers Adam

Thanks Adam. Would you mind posting some photos?

Any damage to the wheels that would necessitate a refurb?

I’m planning on leaving them bare alloy.

Thanks
John

No bother at all, im not the most tech savvy so i'll try and get a few up tonight when i get in. No damage, just couple light grazes of a kerb and mainly they were flaking round where the centre caps fit. I could easily get them stripped from a customer of mine so saved me sanding and prepping them
