BWA engine Manual VS DSG?
« on: March 18, 2020, 05:53:21 pm »
Hello

If anyone could answer this quick question I would be greatful. I am doing an engine swap and my current engine is a 2.0 tfsi BWA engine with a DSG transmission and I have another BWA engine which had a manual transmission. Are the engines both interchangeable? Will I still be able to put my dsg transmission onto the bwa engine with the manual box?

Thanks.

The DSG will swap onto it. Would be easier to keep the DSG with the new replacement engine because of the TCM/Mechatronic.
