I`ll keep my eyes and ears out for you.

Thanks Craig. Indeed, I'll end up with a new one everytime I have to adjust something on the unit at this rate. I'm not spending another £130 odd for my incompetence

--- Quote from: v2brett on March 08, 2010, 09:57:17 pm ---you could try 1 of those smart repair firms mate,  just call a few and ask for a quote.   they should be able to make it look a lot better for less than 130 quid   :happy2:

Yeah I've noted down a few Brett, cheers
I've no idea how much it'd be? As you say, hopefully less than £130!  :scared:

If you can find one, you could try the Halfords dash repair kit http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_201783_langId_-1_categoryId_165492.

I've got one but not had chance to use it yet, but it does look very good and comes with a loads of stuff - inc filler, clay to recreate the dash texture, paint, brushes etc.

Got to be worth a punt for a fiver?

Steve

Any one tried to retro fit one of these! if so whats involved!? :happy2:

How about sanding it down again and trying to apply some piano black or carbon fibre vinyl wrap around it. Cut out holes for the heated seat knobs and the climate control temperature displays. Would look really nice if done correctly.
