EPC, Tyre pressure & Traction Control Warning Lights
« on: June 17, 2020, 06:07:00 pm »
Had this issue a couple of months ago where I got all 3 of these warning lights whilst driving on the motorway. Had it scanned and got the following codes:

005634 Power Supply Terminal 30
P1602 - 002 - voltage too low - intermittent

000545 Angle Sensor 2 for Throttle G188
P0221 - 008 - implausible single - intermittent

005465 Throttle Body J338
P1559 - 008 - fault in basic settings - intermittent

Had these codes cleared and it was all fine until i had some wheel spin in 2nd gear after hard acceleration and the same lights came on and then went off after an hour or so.

Anyone else had the same issues?

Had the exact same symptoms a few years ago, and it was throttle body related.

Had the throttle body replaced which seemed to fix it, but it came back 6 months or so later.

Eventually ended up having a new wiring loom made for all the connections related to the throttle body which fixed the problem. It's not clear whether this was the problem all along (I think probably) and the throttle body was actually fine.
