Phase position bank1
« on: May 22, 2022, 10:05:38 pm »
Hello gentlemen, I have a minor problem with the golf 6R, so the ea113 engine.  I first got a p0016 delete error and then a p000a.  I tried block 93 on vcds.

car runs normally but phase position bank 1 seems too low.  I just wonder if it doesn't have that much power it's revo stage2 + .The chain has a mileage of about 2000 km and I have now fitted a new cover with rings.  can i ask what's wrong?  can the chain be badly fitted on the tooth?  thank you very much

The phase position should be 0 to -3KW with a new chain, so -6 is a little out. The requested angle in 91 is correct though, so it’s not causing problems yet.

It might be worth double checking the timing and VVT oil rings if that was all replaced recently.
