Ring trip in May.

Yes we are visiting autostadt also booked on a factory tour on the Friday but we will be tight for time getting there from the ferry :driver:

....I haven't been on the factory tour but there's a lot to see just in the Autostadt pavilions. Enjoy! :happy2:

At the risk of sounding like your dad, if it's your first time:
- One of the lads here will gladly give you a passenger ride first so you see what the Nordschleife feels like. Simulator games etc are limited.
- Drive your first laps slower and build your confidence up during the day. It's not a race.
- Don't get over-confident or distracted - The Nordschleife demands respect and you need to stay very focussed all the way round.
- Simply drive within both your car's limits and your driver limitations. Have fun but be safe.
- When you think "just one more lap".. Don't do it!
- Keep a very keen eye on your rear view mirrors!!

I'm not the expert which reading this might lead you to think I am. You're with a crowd who know what they're doing (mostly! :wink:) and who will guide and look after you.

Thanks for the advice it's always welcome . I will just be taking it easy and enjoying the experience as you sayits not a race :smiley:
