Tyre sizes??

Mandy:
Hi, I currently have Dunlop Sport Maxx tires front and back on my golf, 225/40 18.

Back 2 are on 1mm so need changing! Question is, will it be ok to put 235/40 18 on the back 2, and leave the front ones as 225/40 18?

Found a bargain pair of Vredesteins on the bay, £170 for both, only got the 235 though...

Thanks, Mandy.

Hurdy:
I wouldn't. The difference in rolling circumference and diameter between the fronts and the rears will confuse the ABS and ESP. Stick to the same tyre specs.

Mandy:
Ok, thanks for your advice- much appreciated  :happy2:

I will have to hang on for another week or so until Elite have them back in stock...

Poppa Dom:
Try Camskill too, £170 is not much of a bargain as Camskill can often compete with that price when they have them in stock too  :happy2:
