Polar advanced box and bt box

have a mk5 r32 2008 and i have fitted a bt polar box  which works fine and l now want to fit the polar advanced box also but was told you can't have both fitted as the polar advanced box takes place of the phone menu in the high line clocks...or can I have both fitted with no issues
