i have the osram night breakers, they are an improvement over stock but not as good as xenons.

ive not really heard the APR system, when i passed whiteGTI a few months ago it did sound quiet though. i have a blueflame TBE and it is loud when you press much much more than milltek but cruising on a motorway its pretty quiet if your careful with the pedal.  :happy2:

That was at the Superchips RR day wasn't it? You must have heard it on the rollers!

NB07:
oh that was it, yeh i cant remember hearing it though, i turned up late and i think i may have missed your chris  :ashamed:

chopper:
thanks guys for all the tips. i'll have to take them all on board. I think Hurdy you are trying to bankrupt me! :signLOL:
im sure ive heard an audio clip of your exhaust on here somewhere hurdy so i'll check it out again, and im sure someone had the APR RSC soundclip too... as i recall they did have slightly different sounds. it may boil down to price, but im swaying towards the APR.
im based in Northern Ireland, but thanks WhiteGTI for the offer anyway...
as for ride height, i think for driveability a 2 finger gap might be best, and thats goin to be somewhere below 30mm drop.
the DSG remap sounds very enticing, but as you say GTIJames it wont get all the benefits with the Bluefin.

i've been picking up some great tips from the detailing section, and bought some nie gear from autoperfection - great service from taryn and jim. the snow foam attachment is class, and the foam really helps shift the dirt. got a bit lazy over the winter and took the easy option of a going to a local hand car wash. big regrets now. washed the car myself yesterday and noticed there are scratches and swirls all over the whole car. and even the rear driver side window is scratched. im going to have to spend today polishing for all my worth.
so no pics tell i have it looking the way it used to.

JPC:
welcome along there matey! ;)

T88OMM:
