It's a non res, and the car is by recollection app. 30mm down.
The tips are 3" each  :happy2:

Welcome chopper :happy2:

A decent sized mod list there. There are a couple of other mods you may like to do whilst the suspension is going on and they are the front and rear anti-roll bars. I put these on initially as a standalone mod and could tell the difference immediately. Not cheap but definitely a good mod. Also consider the lower engine swing arm mount with the dogbone insert, these will help keep your exhaust in one piece as it will reduce the amount of movement in the engine and will help with wheel hop..

I've had the 19" CH alloys on my car and they looked superb. I got very slight rubbing under maximum compression with a medium drop in ride height on Eibach coilovers and that was WITH the arch screw delete. For me the ride height is more about driveability on track than looks, but if you go for looks, then go for a "1 finger gap" between the arch and the wheel. For driving double the gap.

I have a Milltek resonated system on my car and it is loud when you press the "loud" pedal and quiet when you are town or motorway driving. I get more noise from the intake!!

A REVO DSG stage 2 map would also work great on the car alongside the ATB Quaife (again I have both!)

Modding becomes addictive and you'll get sucked in here if you are susceptable

GTIjames:
welcome,

after hearing ruben's APR RSC zorst at tuning werkes this morning - and having owned a Milltek Resonated TBE for past 18months

it would have to be the APR it sounds amazing - alot more meaningful than than the milltek - tips look nicer too

also if your considering a dsg map you will discover the bluefin map does not work too well with the increased shift points as they don't remove the soft limiter  - faster shifts, improved launch control and disabled kick down all work fine though  :happy2:

happy modding

Ahh good to hear that you've been down to Tuningwerkes James! Reuben is a top guy isn't he!

I'd echo what's been said above and go for the APR (I did). The whole point of the RSC (reflective sound cancellation) is that there is zero drone. It is quieter than the stock system when you're holding a constant speed! But when you open the taps all hell breaks loose! Try to get a ride in cars fitted with either exhaust and then decide for yourself. If your based near Berkshire/Surrey/Hampshire and are free this week then I'll let you have a listen to mine.

Welcome to the forum, I'm afraid that this place is going to make you spend a lot more money! Be prepared!  :happy2:

welcome chopper sounds like your well on you way down the slippery slope!

i have the osram night breakers, they are an improvement over stock but not as good as xenons.

ive not really heard the APR system, when i passed whiteGTI a few months ago it did sound quiet though. i have a blueflame TBE and it is loud when you press much much more than milltek but cruising on a motorway its pretty quiet if your careful with the pedal.  :happy2:
