I think you might miss this one!

Sticking with VW for your diesel or going BMW or Audi?  Those 335d Bimmers absolutely shift......but the maintenance bills are substantially bigger, and more frequent, as will be trips to the Shell station  :grin:

I would probably get an A3 TDI for it's MUCH better build quality over the Golf, but it looks about as exciting as a plain scone, so a Golf GTD would probably be my choice......and then get one Darkside Development's fast road packages for it.  Sprinkle on the all the usual Bilsteins and what not and you won't be far off the Ed30 performance wise.

Plan is to get a GT sport 140 then the usual mods remap Darkside egr delete, Eibach springs, super Pro ball joints etc.
