Coolant in the heater fan motor??
« on: January 04, 2021, 06:57:28 pm »
So I've noticed since I've had ot that the car is losing water, I thort it was just a porous head as it's a 2004 gt TDI 140, last week my heater fans stopped working, I just stripped it down and took out the fan motor and it was full of water (coolant) anyone had this before??

Could a leaking heater core cause this?  Not sure where the core is in relation to the fan motor, but if it was leaking the coolant could make it's way to the motor.
